Hi! My name is Simona

I offer a warm and supportive space for people experiencing eating difficulties, eating disorders and body image concerns, where you can feel safe exploring what’s going on for you at your own pace. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and grounded in understanding.

I believe that meaningful change begins when you feel truly heard.

With years of experience in NHS settings, BABCP registration and accreditation, and specialist training in CBT-E and Schema Therapy, I support clients with care that is safe, structured and evidence-informed.

I will work alongside you to gently make sense of your experiences, build on your strengths, and move towards greater clarity, resilience and self-confidence. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting, just a willingness to take the first step, which can sometimes be the hardest thing to do.

Inspired by Your Recovery Journey

The foundation of Be Kind To Yourself was laid by a deep commitment to accompanying people on their recovery journey from an eating disorder.

I believe that everyone deserves compassionate, effective and evidence-informed support, a space where they can feel heard, understood and gently supported towards change.

This belief continues to guide every aspect of my work with people experiencing eating difficulties, eating disorders and body image concerns.

My Guiding Principles

At Be Kind To Yourself, the core principle is simple: meaningful change begins with safety, understanding and support. When you feel heard and not judged, trying things differently can begin to feel possible.

My work with eating difficulties, eating disorders and body image concerns is guided by compassion, collaboration and evidence-informed CBT.

Your progress, growth and empowerment are at the heart of everything I do.

Ready To Take The First Step?

If you feel that this support may be right for you, you are welcome to get in touch. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out; a short message is enough to begin.

I will respond with the next steps and help you understand whether individual CBT sessions or therapeutic group support may be suitable for you.
